About the BSCC

Our Mission Statement

The Burnt Store Corridor Coalition represents the interests of twelve communities located in south Charlotte County and Northern Lee County affected by development along the Burnt Store Road corridor which extends from Jones Loop to Pine Island Road. Our purpose is to provide a forum to improve communication among communities to address concerns over development, public safety, wildlife preservation, and access to better health care options. The BSCC is intended to serve as a vehicle for cross-county advocacy on issues of common concern, such as road safety and improvement.
